After having to endure a year of no new installments to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Ubisoft is preparing a release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game will take place in the Viking era where players step into the role of a raider as they expand their empire. While details are still a bit scarce, we know that there will be a play on Norse mythology along with players once again having the ability to alter the storyline a bit with the choices made. When players start the game they will have the ability to customize the protagonist Eivor which can be either a male or female. Of course, the game will also take the same mechanics as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey with the variety of weapons and gear sets you’ll be able to find along your journey.

There are a few changes from the past mainline installment. For one, we know that there is some type of a settlement area to the game which players can build up and upgrade. It’s said to play a big role in the game not only for your people but also it’ll matter who you bring to the area from the game campaign. Additionally, one of the biggest issues players had with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was the fact that there was a level progression system attached to the main campaign. This ultimately resulted in players not being able to complete a certain mission due to not meeting the recommended level suggestion. In order to complete the missions, players could do a series of side quests to get XP though that’s not something you’ll have to do with Valhalla. Instead, the game can be completed by progressing the main campaign right away, although there will be side quests available as well if you wish to explore the world map.

Upcoming Rpg Games 2020

CD Projekt Red made a name for themselves with The Witcher trilogy. This was a fantastic RPG experience that players got to experience over the course of a few years. Now that the video game trilogy has come to an end, the development studio is gearing up for their next big open-world RPG release, Cyberpunk 2077. Set in the distant future in a world that is fueled by greed and crime, players will step into the role of a mercenary named V. You’re just trying to make a living and it’s going to cause you to take on odd jobs in order to build up the street cred granting access to the bigger and better-paying gigs.

As mentioned this is an open-world RPG but one that will have players replaying a few times rather than exploring endless on the same run. The development team is providing players with a campaign that allows you to decide how to accomplish various tasks and missions. For instance, there is a slew of augmentations that you can incorporate onto V and it’s with these augmentations that will tweak your gameplay style. Furthermore, this RPG will have a few different endings and even origin stories to complete so we’re expecting plenty of replay value when the game launches in April of 2020.
